Yesterday, I spent the night at Kevin's (Durham) and this morning I listen to Matt Carter's sermon called "Is Church Membership Biblical?" I think the answer is sorta obvious - "Of course! How would church membership not be biblical?" - but Matt Carter reminded me of a couple points: 1) Hebrews 13:17 is a command, not a suggestion and when we break a command, that is called disobedience/sin, 2) church is a sanctuary from Satan's attack in other parts o our lives (marriage, kids, work, etc).
After eating lunch at Panera's (one of my favorite place's to go!) and shopping for groceries, we drove to Trudy's place in Southern Village (Chapel Hill). I can tell by the style of her house that she's a pinterest, etsy, Anthropologie kind of gal. I remember admire her for actually completely the DIY projects that she's seen online! I typically just repin them for a rainy day but never really get to them >< :

Troppolo aka Truppy is one the most clingy/needy cats that I've ever encountered! Normal cats usually have this nonchalant attitude about humans/do their own thing but this cat, it meows SO MUCH because it wants to be petted all the time. It follows you around and does what you do - when you sleep, it sleeps, when you take a shower, it wants to take a shower. Makes for good company I guess; at night, though, when you're dead asleep, he puts his paw on your face and pokes at you for a good min so that you'll pet him.
So after moving in, I walked around the neighborhood (a sort ski resort style kind of neighborhood, with apartments/houses on the outside of a main semicircle street and little shops in the middle) to find the bus stop so that I knew where to take the bus on my first day.
