Had some really funny patients this morning. There was this one 70 y/o black lady with diabetes that came in and she had suuuch a personality. Recommended the Mango Pineapple Freeze at McDonald's and told me that she knew she was sweet, but didn't know she was THAT sweet (aka diabetes).
I wish I was getting more sleep! Or just had time to do nothing or worry about that list in the back of my mind of stuff to do. Even though today I got back at 2pm, after a short lunch, I was so tired that I ended up sleeping until 5pm. Made me feel like I wasted a good day. I also wish I had time to plan Grace's bridal shower/bachelorette party or journal more or read or more importantly have motivation to do quiet time.
I've also been trying to figure out where best to buy groceries! Apparently Chapel Hill has this law where chain stores (aka Walmart/Target) can't set up shop here because they want to keep the specialty stores/traditional stores (aka Weaver Market) as a part of town. This, however, makes the groceries double or triple what it normally is.
